The Constance Group plans to target the more affluent Indian traveller with its Constance Hotels. The group has luxury hotels in tropical destinations such as Mauritius, Seychelles, Madagascar and Maldives and they are hoping to promote these hotels in order to attract the high spending Indian tourists. They are concentrating on the main markets in India such as Kolkata, Delhi, Bengaluru, Mumbai and Chennai. The company has hired the Nijhawan Group to take care of marketing in India and are also using Blue Square Consultants to take care of public relations. According to the Managing Director of Nijhawan Group, Ankush Nijhawan, it is estimated that by 2020, there will be around fifty million Indian travellers so now is the perfect time to push Constance Hotels to the forefront in terms of luxury accommodation. Of the Indian tourists that head to places like Maldives and Mauritius, seventy five percent of them will opt for the more luxurious hotels and this is where Constance Hotels will come into their own.

India is a growing economy and the people there are seeing their disposable income increasing all the time so luxury travel is becoming more and more common. The Head of Business Development in Blue Square Consultants, Ms. Lubaina Sheerazi said she is expecting a huge growth for the Constance Group from India over the coming years and targeting these wealthy families now makes perfect sense.
